Naked, Nude, and Bare

Ok, I am REALLY nervous about the kind of traffic I might get from the title of this post! lol While I am not naked, nude, or bare....I am talking about makeup palettes that ARE! The trend for neutral smokey eyes is so hot right now, I wanted to show you all a few different options when it came to palettes that promise this look!

First up is the EVER loved Urban Decay Naked Palette.
Retail: $48.00

The UD Naked Palette is 12 beautiful neutral shades that range in finish from shimmer to satin to matte. Included in the palette is a sample size of their ever famous UDPP (Urban Decay Primer Potion) and an eyeshadow brush. I know for a while it also came with a double ended 24/7 liner duo, but I don't think that is included anymore (bummer!). Another upside is that it has a decent sized mirror in the palette! The only con's I see are the price, and that I know some of the shades have quite a bit of fall out, but most smokey shades do!

The NAKED palette is available at Sephora, Ulta, and Urban Decay
Purchase from Sephora here
Purchase from ULTA here
Purchase from Urban Decay here

Up next is the NYX cosmetics Nude on Nude Palette.
Retail: $25.00

Do not adjust your screens, this palette really does mimic the Naked palette a WHOLE bunch! However, for the $25 price tag, you are getting 20 eyeshadow shades, PLUS 10 lip colors that go great with many different looks! Like the naked palette, it does have a mirror inside, and two applicators, one for eyes and one for lips.

The Nude on Nude Palette is available to purchase from NYX cosmetics.
Purchase from NYX here

Last but certainly NOT least is the Sigma eyeshadow palette in Bare.
Retail: $35.00

This palette has 8 beautiful shades, perfect for any neutral look from dark and smokey to soft and natural. Not only are the shades really beautiful, but this palette comes with a dual ended Sigma brush with an E30 on one end and an E25 on the other. The $35 price tag justifies the brush alone for me, so the shadows would be a bonus!

The Bare palette is available to purchase through Sigma
Purchase from Sigma here.

So there you have it, three of the new palettes for perfect neutral eyes every time! I hope you all found this helpful! I will be doing some smokey and neutral looks here coming up soon that you could create with any of these palettes, so stay tuned!
Have a wonderful day!

Wish List

Hey Everyone! So after fighting my kidney infection and taking care of my daughter, who had walking pneumonia...I AM BACK!!! (and, yes, we are both healthy now!)

so I thought since I haven't had time to film any new videos, that it would be fun to do sort of a "wish list" type of post! These are some items that I would love to get...some will have to wait because of the cost, and some I just need to order! Check out my list:

TopStyler hair curling clips

Retail: $155.00
Have you seen this infomercial for these things? They look AWESOME! They promise all day curls with no heat damage, even though they do use heat, to make your hair look bouncy and shiny! I MUST have them! Check out their website above for more info.

NEW E.L.F. smudger brush

Retail: $1.00
(http://www.eyeslipsface.com/elf/eyes/eye_brushes/smudge_brush)
I have been waiting for ELF to make a smaller version of their eyeshadow brush FOR-EV-ER!! So you can imagine my excitement as I clicked on their website today and saw the new smudger brush! I CAN'T WAIT to get this bugger in my hot little hands!!

NEW E.L.F. Essentials Brightening Eye Color in Ocean Dreams

Retail: $1.00
(http://www.eyeslipsface.com/elf/eyes/eyeshadow/brightening_eye_color)
So, I know I have an 88 palette and almost every eyeshadow color I could ever need, but I HAVE TO HAVE the new eyeshadow quad in Ocean Dreams from ELF...it's so....well, dreamy! PLUS I own ALL of the ELF quads, I certainly can't stop now!! lol

Sigma Cosmetics Dry'n Shape System

Retail: $29.00
(http://www.sigmabeauty.com/)
Sigma KNOWS what they are doing when it comes to brushes! I own several of them, and they are AWESOME! So when the Dry'n Shape came out I was so excited! I usually wash my brushes and then let them dry overnight. But if you are working a gig and you need them clean and dry within a few hours, or if your brushes lose shape while they are drying, this system is awesome! It dries your brushes in the perfect shape in 4-6 hours!

So there you have it! My Beauty Wish List! Have you tried any of these products? What did you think of them? What are some of your beauty wish list items??

My new Holy Grail moisturizer

Hey Everyone,

so I have been in search of a new moisturizer for quite a while. After just not being happy with anything, I came across SkinMD natural. I am in love with this new moisturizer, and because I love it so much and want you all to try it, I have a disount code for you!

just enter BCR for 20% off. It is case sensitive and should be entered during checkout at http://skinmdnatural.com/

And make sure to check out my reivew for the pros and cons:

Another pro I forgot to mention is that it is Eco Friendly, Cruelty Free, and Vegan!!

I do have to say after using this product for over a month, my skin is smoother, my dry patches are much more moist and not as bumpy, and I notice my pores even appear smaller! Not to mention the price! The SkinMD natural shielding lotion comes in a 4oz bottle (both with SPF 15 and without) and is $18.99 plus shipping. However, remember that discount code I gave you at the begining of the post!

Also, if you order 4 or more bottles you get free shipping, and 5 or more bottles you will get one bottle free!

FTC: this product was sent to me for review, but I am not affiliated with SkinMD. I am not getting a portion of the sales from using the discount code, I just want my viewers to get a great deal and all of my opinions are my own!

So, I am sure by now, unless you live under a rock, you have heard of Sigma makeup brushes (WEBSITE).

I was recently sent some amazing brushes from Simga makeup and here is my review! Keep looking below for pictures and comparisons for these brushes!

E30 pencil brush $9.00 (MAC 219)

E40 tapered blending $9.00 (MAC 222)

FTC: I was sent these brushes for review, and I am a sigma affiliate. I am not being paid to make this video, but I do make a portion of every sale that is made through the link on my blog. This in no way effects my opinion on these products and as I said, I would not review them if I did not like them!

A Beauty Blender Alternative

A Faux beauty blender? for $5??? Nope, your not dreaming and you read that right! I have found quite a fun little tool to add to your makeup repritoure, its called the Super Blender, and you can purchase it here: http://tinyurl.com/25syxnj or at your local ULTA store for $4.99!!

Now, if your not familiar with the beauty blender or its alternatives, let me show you what I am talking about:

The original Beauty Blender retails at Sephora for $19.95

Sonia Kashuk has her own version that you can find at Target for $9.99

And then there is the Super blender, available at ULTA for $4.99

so all of these sponges pretty much look alike, and I have felt them all..they all feel the same, so can a $5 sponge applicater work as well as a $20 one? Watch this review to see:
